mid-morning dream

It was a hot day. Lea just arrived but she already wanted to escape the place. She went to nearest convenience store to buy drink and some snacks. So, she went out, Asa and Era was behind her too.

Lea didn't know whose house she visited, but she vaguely remembered the house, maybe it was Era's house.

When they arrived at the convenience store, she realized due to lack of items they were selling and the positioning of remaining items was kinda different with the normal convenience store supposed to be.

Lea said, "Uh, is this store going to be closed forever?"

"Yeah" someone answered.

Suddenly, Asa shrieked. "Someone is peeking at us!"

The door became blurrier every seconds and gone not long after that.

On the other side of the door, an elder man was staring at them. Almost bald, wearing a white-navy security attire, without hat. Lea tried to push him, but he didn't have a solid body, his body felt like a projection.

He wasn't trying to hurt them or anything, he just stood and stared to the store. Lea didn't understand the reason, but her guts kept telling that they should escape and just run as far as they can from the store. He was walking to the store, Lea wanted to grab Era and Asa's hand to run, but suddenly Asa's body froze and didn't move even though they shook her body.

As the man tried to get closer to them, without second thought, Lea shooed him by shouting at him, "It's over there, we don't have it." and pointed into the deeper parts of the store. She didn't understand why she said that, nonetheless it worked.

Lea and Era dragged Asa out of the convenience store and run as fast as they can. The house and convenience store distance shouldn't be that far.

When they ran back, they passed some kind of black veil that kind of differentiate between the "other world" of convenience store and the "normal world" of the house.
